A bathroom renovation means managing plumber, tiler, and carpenter separately, or it does unless you use Murphy's Plumbing. Conor's crew handles the full job from strip-out to finished tiling and fitting, so there is one point of contact and one invoice.
Murphy's Plumbing has fitted bathrooms from Navan to Bray, in old Meath farmhouses and new-build estates alike. The process is the same: a site visit, a fixed price, a realistic timeline, and a clean finish.
Supply-only is also an option. If you have already chosen your suite, tiles, and fittings, Conor can work with your selections. Or he can advise on what works well and source everything himself.
How it works
- 1
Site visit and quote
Conor visits to measure and discuss your plans. If you have already chosen fittings and tiles he works with those. If not, he can advise on what suits the space and budget. A fixed quote is provided within 48 hours.
- 2
Strip-out and plumbing
The old bathroom is stripped, waste is removed, and the plumbing is repositioned as needed. Any water damage found behind tiles or under floors is flagged immediately.
- 3
Fit-out and finish
New sanitaryware is fitted, tiles are laid, and all finishing work is completed. The bathroom is handed back clean, with all fixings and instructions left with you.
Frequently asked questions
- How much does a full bathroom renovation cost in Meath?
- A straightforward bathroom renovation with a standard suite starts from €2,500 for labour. Materials and sanitaryware are on top of this. A wet-room or en-suite with premium fittings typically runs €4,000 to €7,000 all-in.
- How long does a bathroom renovation take?
- Most standard bathrooms take 3 to 5 days. A full wet-room conversion or a bathroom that needs significant replumbing can take a week. You will have a clear timeline in the quote.
- Can you supply the bathroom suite and tiles?
- Yes. Murphy's Plumbing can source and supply the full suite including bath or shower enclosure, WC, basin, and all fittings. Conor works with reliable trade suppliers and can advise on what performs well.
- What happens if hidden problems are found during strip-out?
- Damp, rot, or old pipework sometimes appears once the tiles come off. If this happens you will hear about it immediately with a clear explanation and a separate price. Nothing extra is done without your agreement.
- Do you do en-suite or wet-room conversions?
- Yes. Converting a bedroom into an en-suite or fitting a wet room for accessibility is a common job for Murphy's Plumbing in Meath. The fixed quote process is the same.
